Proud Members Of:

SALI was formed in 1984 by a group of landscapers who believed that the true potential of the landscaping industry could only be realized if landscapers showed unity, produced excellent work and worked with professionalism and integrity.  Over the years SALI has grown consistently and remains the only standards body, national representative and voice for landscaping professionals in South Africa.

LIA (Landscape Irrigation Association), formerly known as the TIA, was formed in 1983. From humble beginnings in Gauteng, it has become the nationally recognised mouthpiece of the landscape irrigation industry.

The primary objective of the Association is to improve and uphold professionalism and standards in the industry. To this end a comprehensive Code of Conduct and Code of Standards has been compiled. The standards are benchmarked against the best global standards and are continually expanded and updated to keep pace with technological advances in the industry.

SAGIC (South African Green Industries Council) is a vibrant, fast-growing umbrella organisation representing the green industry in South Africa. Its primary objectives are to represent the green industry, defend best practice, facilitate issues of national interest pertaining to the green industry, organise and market combined networking opportunities, and to promote good gardening practices. SAGIC is made up of various disciplines which are major employers of people and the suppliers of products and services into the green market place.

We have been responsible for the implementation and management of numerous prestigious and high profile projects. Listing all of these projects would serve no real purpose but a few will be described as examples. Bidvest Top Turf participates in the Annual Awards of Excellence competition held by the South African Landscapers Institute (SALI) and has won numerous awards since their inception in 1988. We have to date won the Premier Award for the best overall entry of that year on 4 occasions.
